This systematic influence of clothes on the wearer’s psychological processes is referred to as Enclothed Cognition and served as the inspiration for one of the most compelling projects we have ever had the pleasure of working on.

Enclothed Cognition is a collaborative project from Dutch fashion designer Bregje Cox and Barbadian visual artist Mark King. The collection is primarily inspired by the behavioral psychological theory of Enclothed Cognition and King and Cox's shared interests in science fiction, functional clothing, architecture, and future technologies.

The clothing collection targets fashion-forward men and women, with a keen interest in bold self-expression and contemporary art.

Our objective was to create a compelling brand identity that complemented Mark's bold, intricate patterns and aligned the collection’s concept with the target audience’s hopes and desires. Realizing that Enclothed and Cognition letter count was identical, we decided to portray the thesis of the collection by playing with the kerning (spacing) for symmetry and emphasized the horizontal lines in a minimal sans-serif wordmark.
